Terms & Conditions
All products are covered under our manufacturer's warranty, which includes a Two-Year Limited Warranty for all frames and a One-Year Limited Warranty for paint finish, fabric and all-weather materials. All furniture is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser when product is purchased from an authorized dealer. If a product fails structurally due to a defect in materials or workmanship during normal use within the terms of our limited warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge. If a product or item is discontinued or not available, we reserve the right to substitute similar products of an equal or greater value than the original item. The customer will be asked to pay the freight for return of an item that is suspected of being defective or was shipped in error. If, in fact, an item is found to be defective or was a shipping error, the customer will be reimbursed for the return freight cost.
Seat cushions and back cushions have a one year limited warranty. All cushions will soften with normal wear and conform to the shape of the user. This is considered normal wear and not a manufacturing defect. Within the allotted time mentioned above from date of purchase, Shoehorn will repair or replace, at our option, any defective cushions including labor, fabric and shipping to and from its service center. Abnormal wear and tear, abuse, burns or commercial use, or improper care and heavy soil is not covered by this warranty.Upholstery and Seams
Shoehorn Furnishings offers to the original purchaser a one year warranty from date of purchase, all upholstery coverings against manufacturing defects, seam slippage and fraying. This warranty does not cover tears, flattening of nap, pilling, fading or shrinkage. Heavy soiling, burns, laundering or abuse is not covered. Some fabrics such as velvets, chenille, or suede looks will crush and shade more readily than other fabrics because this is their characteristic, and is not considered a defect. Within one year from the date of purchase, Shoehorn will replace or repair, at its option, the upholstery-covered part of the product, including labor, fabric and shipping to and from the Shoehorn service center. Note: Colors from websites, printed copies, and also slight dye lot variances in upholstery production is normal. While colors are usually very close, they are often not exact color matches.Air mattress and air pump
In some cases our products may utilize air mattresses, If so, they are made of a tough fabric-like material that under normal use should provide years of quality service. Shoehorn warrants the air mattress and valve from manufacturing defects and leakage for a period of one year from date of purchase for the original purchaser. Shoehorn will repair or replace, at its option, the air mattress. The warranty does not cover customer tears, punctures, burns, or other types of abuse such as jumping on the air mattress, inflating while folded, or use of the product in any other manner than with the furnishings with which it was sold. The air pumps are high-quality that Shoehorn warrants from manufacturing defects and improper function for a one year period. Not covered by the warranty is use with other inflatable products, pumping anything other than air, abuse, outdoor use, commercial use [see next Section] or use with an incorrect power source.Wrong or Defective Product
With prior approval, products may be returned new if Shoehorn has made an error with the product (defective product or wrong product shipped), in unused and in resalable condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Specially requested and personalized items cannot be returned. We'll also pay return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error - please contact us within 30 days if this is the case. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. Customers may be asked to verify damage, defects or incorrect shipments by sending photos to Shoehorn's warranty department.Buyer’s Remorse
Shoehorn Furnishings is committed to manufacturing a quality product that will satisfy the original customer. Within the first 30 days after delivery of a new product, if a customer desires to return a product to Shoehorn after it arrives in good condition due to buyer’s remorse, Shoehorn must agree to accept the return and the customer must pay the return freight charges. Products initially received in damaged condition must be reported within 5 days and the damage noted on the receipt or bill of lading at time of delivery. Returned orders must be returned in the original cartons, and the customer is responsible for the return freight, unless defective. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, Shoehorn will determine the amount of credit, if any, to be given to the customer. Shoehorn will not reimburse the freight costs for buyer’s remorse returns. Special order or Customer’s Own Fabric orders are not returnable and will receive separate warranties that apply only to the respective special order.
Shipping Charges For Returns
When a customer desires to return a product, Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC will request the defective product or part be returned. The customer is responsible to package and return the product or part to Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC. Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC, upon receipt of returned product, will make corrections at no charge if warranty coverage is applicable under the terms specified in this Warranty. Upon inspection and if the warranty is deemed valid, the return freight costs paid by the customer will be reimbursed and the repaired product will be returned to the customer at Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC’s expense.
Payment for freight, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Shoehorn, will be made by customer. Shoehorn will approve methods of shipment of respective products, eg, LTL, White Glove, air, ground, etc. However, Shoehorn customers may select their own carriers and methods for shipping products. In those cases where Shoehorn customers do elect to seek their own shipping methods and defray the costs for same, Shoehorn may advise the customer about its preferred method of shipping a specific product but, the ultimate decision and financial responsibility will be that of Shoehorn’s customer. In many cases Shoehorn’s prices include freight. In those cases, prices will be adjusted if a customer desires to make and defray the costs of shipping a product.
Commercial Use Limited Warranty
If Shoehorn Products are used in a Commercial Setting (hotel, motel, rental unit of any type, business office, etc.) they will be warranted only if a specific warranty is authorized by Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC. Fabric, air mattresses and pumps and all-weather wicker are not warranted for commercial use.
