Shipping & Return
Payment for freight, depending on the specific product, is either included in Shoehorn’s prices or, customers are given shipping and delivery methods that will help enhance their purchase experience. For larger items, threshold or White Glove delivery choices are available. Shoehorn has developed packaging and freight methods that may include LTL, White Glove, air, ground, etc. However, Shoehorn customers may select their own carriers and methods to ship Shoehorn products. In those cases where Shoehorn customers do elect to seek their own shipping methods and defray the costs for same, Shoehorn may advise the customer about its preferred method of shipping a specific product but, the ultimate decision and financial responsibility will be that of Shoehorn’s customer. In those cases when Shoehorn’s prices include freight, prices will be adjusted to remove freight charges if a customer desires to make arrangements and defray the costs of transporting a product.
Shipping Charges For Repairs
When a customer desires to return a product due to perceived product issues, Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC will request the customer to return the product or part at the customer’s expense. The customer is responsible to package the product to protect it (original packaging is specifically designed to protect the product) and return it to the address specified by Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC. Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC, upon receipt of returned product, will make corrections at no charge if warranty coverage is applicable under the terms specified in this Warranty. Upon inspection and if the warranty is deemed valid, the return freight costs paid by the customer will be reimbursed and the repaired product will be returned to the customer at Shoehorn Furnishings, LLC’s expense.
Shoehorn Furnishings is committed to manufacturing a quality product that will satisfy the original customer. Within the first 30 days after delivery of a new product, if a customer desires to return a product to Shoehorn after it arrives in good condition due to buyer’s remorse, Shoehorn must agree to accept the return and the customer must pay the return freight charges. Products initially received in damaged condition must be reported within 5 days and the damage noted on the receipt or bill of lading at time of delivery. Returned orders must be returned in the original cartons, and the customer is responsible for the return freight, unless defective. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, Shoehorn will determine the amount of credit, if any, to be given to the customer. Shoehorn will not reimburse the freight costs for buyer’s remorse returns. Special order or Customer’s Own Fabric orders are not returnable and will receive separate warranties that apply only to the respective special order.
Threshold Delivery: Inside the front door or closest dry area (porch, garage or inside the closest door or the dwelling).
White Glove Delivery: Delivery to Room of Choice, up to 2 flights of stairs, unpack, light assembly, remove trash (+$45.00).
- Deliveries will be during one of two, 4 hour windows Monday – Saturday during regular business hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Driver will only wait maximum of 15 minutes.
- Additional flights of stairs, after hours , holidays and special request delivery times will be extra charge.
